어떤 우주의 모습을 비춰줄까요?
우선, 사진부터 감상하시죠! 이 멋진 사진의 제목은 Comet ZTF: Orbital Plane Crossing 입니다.
NASA에서 공식적으로 제공한 설명을 보시죠. The current darling of the northern night, Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF is captured in this telescopic image from a dark sky location at June Lake, California. Of course Comet ZTF has been growing brighter in recent days, headed for its closest approach to Earth on February 1. But this view was recorded on January 23, very close to the time planet Earth crossed the orbital plane of long-period Comet ZTF. The comet's broad, whitish dust tail is still curved and fanned out away from the Sun as Comet ZTF sweeps along its orbit. Due to perspective near the orbital plane crossing, components of the fanned out dust tail appear on both sides of the comet's green tinted coma though, to lend Comet ZTF a visually striking (left) anti-tail. Buffeted by solar activity the comet's narrower ion tail also streams away from the coma diagonally to the right, across the nearly three degree wide field of view. 현재 북부 밤의 연인인 C/2022 E3 ZTF 혜성은 캘리포니아 주 준 호수의 어두운 하늘 위치에서 이 망원경 이미지로 포착되었습니다. 물론 ZTF 혜성은 2월 1일 지구에 가장 가까이 접근하기 위해 최근 며칠 동안 점점 더 밝아지고 있다. 그러나 이 견해는 지구가 장주기 혜성 ZTF의 궤도면을 가로지른 시간에 매우 가까운 1월 23일에 기록되었다. 혜성의 넓고 희끄무레한 먼지 꼬리는 ZTF 혜성이 궤도를 따라 쓸면서 여전히 휘어져 있고 태양으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있다. 궤도면 교차점 근처의 원근법 때문에, 부채꼴로 흩어진 먼지 꼬리의 구성 요소는 혜성의 녹색 색조 코마의 양쪽에 나타나며, ZTF 혜성에게 시각적으로 눈에 띄는 (왼쪽) 반꼬리를 제공한다. 태양 활동으로 인해 혜성의 이온 꼬리가 좁아진 것도 거의 3도 정도의 넓은 시야를 가로질러 오른쪽으로 대각선으로 혼수상태에서 멀어진다. 우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~
그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
