어떤 우주의 모습을 비춰줄까요?
우선, 사진부터 감상하시죠! 이 멋진 사진의 제목은 Little Planet Aurora 입니다.
NASA에서 공식적으로 제공한 설명을 보시죠. Immersed in an eerie greenish light, this rugged little planet appears to be home to stunning water falls and an impossibly tall mountain. It's planet Earth of course. On the night of November 9 the nadir-centered 360 degree mosaic was captured by digital camera from the Kirkjufell mountain area of western Iceland. Curtains of shimmering Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights provide the pale greenish illumination. The intense auroral display was caused by solar activity that rocked Earth's magnetosphere in early November and produced strong geomagnetic storms. Kirkjufell mountain itself stands at the top of the stereographic projection's circular horizon. Northern hemisphere skygazers will recognize the familiar stars of the Big Dipper just above Kirkjufell's peak. At lower right the compact Pleiades star cluster and truly giant planet Jupiter also shine in this little planet's night sky. 섬뜩한 초록빛 빛에 잠긴 이 험준한 작은 행성에는 놀라운 폭포와 불가능할 정도로 높은 산이 있는 것처럼 보인다. 물론 행성 지구입니다. 11월 9일 밤 아이슬란드 서부 커크주펠 산악지대에서 나디르 중심의 360도 모자이크가 디지털 카메라에 포착됐다. 오로라 보렐리스 또는 북극광의 반짝이는 커튼은 옅은 녹색 빛을 제공합니다. 이 강렬한 오로라 현상은 11월 초 태양 활동이 지구 자기권을 뒤흔들면서 강력한 지자기 폭풍을 일으킨 데 따른 것이다. 커크주펠 산 자체가 입체 사영의 원형 지평선 꼭대기에 서 있다. 북반구 하늘을 보는 사람들은 커크주펠의 봉우리 바로 위에 있는 북두칠성의 친숙한 별들을 알아볼 것이다. 오른쪽 아래에는 작은 플레이아데스 성단과 정말 거대한 행성 목성도 이 작은 행성의 밤하늘에 빛난다. 우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~
그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
