어떤 우주의 모습을 비춰줄까요?
우선, 사진부터 감상하시죠! 이 멋진 사진의 제목은 Mars and the Star Clusters 입니다.
NASA에서 공식적으로 제공한 설명을 보시죠. At this year's end Mars still shines brightly in planet Earth's night as it wanders through the head-strong constellation Taurus. Its bright yellowish hue dominates this starry field of view that includes Taurus' alpha star Aldebaran and the Hyades and Pleiades star clusters. While red giant Aldebaran appears to anchor the V-shape of the Hyades at the left of the frame, Aldebaran is not a member of the Hyades star cluster. The Hyades cluster is 151 light-years away making it the nearest established open star cluster, but Aldebaran lies at less than half that distance, along the same line-of-sight. At the right, some 400 light-years distant is the open star cluster cataloged as Messier 45, also known as the Pleiades or Seven Sisters. In Greek myth, the Pleiades were daughters of the astronomical titan Atlas and sea-nymph Pleione. 올해 말에도 화성은 머리가 강한 황소자리를 거닐면서 지구의 밤 행성에서 여전히 밝게 빛난다. 밝은 노란색은 황소자리 알파별 알데바란과 히아데스 성단과 플레이아데스 성단을 포함하는 이 별들의 시야를 지배한다. 적색 거성 알데바란은 히아데스 성단의 V자 모양을 왼쪽에 고정시키는 것처럼 보이지만, 알데바란은 히아데스 성단의 일원이 아니다. 히아데스 성단은 151광년 떨어져 있어 가장 가까운 산개성단이지만, 알데바란은 같은 가시선을 따라 그 거리의 절반 이하에 있다. 오른쪽에서 약 400광년 떨어진 곳에는 플레이아데스 성단 또는 일곱 자매로 알려진 메시에 45라는 성단이 있다. 그리스 신화에서 플레이아데스인들은 천문학적 거인 아틀라스와 바다의 님프 플레이오네의 딸들이다. 우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~
그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
