어떤 우주의 모습을 비춰줄까요?
우선, 사진부터 감상하시죠! 이 멋진 사진의 제목은 Pleiades over Half Dome 입니다.
NASA에서 공식적으로 제공한 설명을 보시죠. Stars come in bunches. The most famous bunch of stars on the sky is the Pleiades, a bright cluster that can be easily seen with the unaided eye. The Pleiades lies only about 450 light years away, formed about 100 million years ago, and will likely last about another 250 million years. Our Sun was likely born in a star cluster, but now, being about 4.5 billion years old, its stellar birth companions have long since dispersed. The Pleiades star cluster is pictured over Half Dome, a famous rock structure in Yosemite National Park in California, USA. The featured image is a composite of 28 foreground exposures and 174 images of the stellar background, all taken from the same location and by the same camera on the same night in October 2019. After calculating the timing of a future juxtaposition of the Pleiades and Half Dome, the astrophotrographer was unexpectedly rewarded by an electrical blackout, making the background sky unusually dark. 별은 떼를 지어 온다. 하늘에서 가장 유명한 별무리는 맨눈으로 쉽게 볼 수 있는 밝은 성단인 플레이아데스 성단이다. 플레이아데스 산맥은 약 450광년 떨어져 있으며, 약 1억 년 전에 형성되었으며, 약 2억 5천만 년 더 지속될 것으로 보인다. 우리 태양은 성단에서 태어났을 가능성이 높지만, 현재 약 45억 년 된 이 별의 탄생 동반성은 오래 전에 흩어졌다. 플레이아데스 성단은 미국 캘리포니아 주 요세미티 국립공원의 유명한 암석 구조물인 하프 돔 위에서 촬영되었다. 플레이아데스 성단과 하프 돔 성단의 미래 병치 시점을 계산한 결과, 이 천체투영사는 뜻밖에도 정전으로 보상을 받아 배경 하늘이 유난히 어두워졌다. 우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~
그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
