어떤 우주의 모습을 비춰줄까요?
우선, 사진부터 감상하시죠! 이 멋진 사진의 제목은 Quadrantids of the North 입니다.
NASA에서 공식적으로 제공한 설명을 보시죠. Named for a forgotten constellation, the Quadrantid Meteor Shower puts on an annual show for planet Earth's northern hemisphere skygazers. The shower's radiant on the sky lies within the old, astronomically obsolete constellation Quadrans Muralis. That location is not far from the Big Dipper asterism, known to some as the Plough, at the boundaries of the modern constellations Bootes and Draco. In fact the Big Dipper "handle" stars are near the upper right corner in this frame, with the meteor shower radiant just below. North star Polaris is toward the top left. Pointing back toward the radiant, Quadrantid meteors streak through the night in this skyscape from Jangsu, South Korea. The composite image was recorded in the hours around the shower's peak on January 4, 2024. A likely source of the dust stream that produces Quadrantid meteors was identified in 2003 as an asteroid. 잊혀진 별자리의 이름을 딴 Quadrantid 유성우는 행성 지구의 북반구 하늘을 보는 사람들을 위해 매년 공연을 합니다. 이 샤워의 빛은 천문학적으로 오래된 무랄리스자리(Quadrans Muralis) 안에 있다. 그 위치는 일부 사람들에게 쟁기로 알려진 북두칠성과 오늘날의 부테스와 용자리의 경계에서 멀지 않다. 사실 북두칠성은 오른쪽 위 구석 부근에 있으며, 유성우는 바로 아래에서 빛나고 있다. 북극성 북극성은 왼쪽 상단을 향하고 있습니다. 한국 장수에서 온 이 하늘 풍경에서 빛나는 사분면 운석들이 밤을 새워가며 줄을 잇는다. 합성영상은 2024년 1월 4일 소나기 피크 주변 시간대에 기록되었다. 2003년에 사분면 운석을 생성하는 먼지류의 근원으로 소행성이 확인되었다. 우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~
그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
