The mission was to document night-flying birds -- but it ended up also documenting a beautiful sky. The featured wide-angle mosaic was taken over the steppe golden fields in Mértola, Portugal in 2020. From such a dark location, an immediately-evident breathtaking glow arched over the night sky: the central band of our Milky Way galaxy. But this sky had much more. Thin clouds crossed the sky like golden ribbons. The planet Mars appeared on the far left, while the planets Saturn and Jupiter were also simultaneously visible -- but on the opposite side of the sky, here seen on the far right. Near the top of the image the bright star Vega can be found, while the far-distant and faint Andromeda Galaxy can be seen toward the left, just below Milky Way's arch. As the current month progresses, several planets are lining up in the pre-dawn sky: Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn. Did you know? Many APODs have links for adventure & humor

 

그 임무는 밤하늘을 나는 새들을 기록하는 것이었지만 결국 아름다운 하늘을 기록하는 것으로 끝났습니다. 이 모자이크는 2020년 포르투갈 메르톨라의 계단식 황금 들판에서 촬영되었다. 이렇게 어두운 곳에서, 우리 은하수의 중심 띠인 밤하늘에 바로 숨막히는 광채가 아치 모양으로 솟아올랐다. 하지만 이 하늘은 더 많은 것을 가지고 있었다. 얇은 구름이 금빛 리본처럼 하늘을 가로질렀다. 화성은 맨 왼쪽에 나타났고, 토성과 목성도 동시에 볼 수 있었습니다. 하지만 하늘의 반대편, 여기 맨 오른쪽에 보이죠. 사진의 꼭대기 근처에서는 밝은 별 베가를 볼 수 있고, 멀리 떨어져 있고 희미하게 보이는 안드로메다 은하는 우리 은하의 아치 바로 아래 왼쪽을 볼 수 있다. 현재 달이 진행됨에 따라, 목성, 금성, 화성, 토성의 몇몇 행성들이 새벽 전 하늘에 줄지어 서 있다. 알고 있었어요? 많은 APOD들은 모험과 유머를 위한 링크를 가지고 있다.

 

우주의 다양한 모습은 아름답습니다~ 그리고 광활하며 거대합니다. 형형색색 변화하며 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 주네요~ 가볼 수는 없지만 이렇게 사진으로 볼 수 있어서 좋네요!
