2일 중앙질병관리본부에 따르면 이날 0시 기준
신규 확진자는 5266명으로 하루 만에 최다 확진자가 나왔습니다.
중환자는 733명으로 전날보다 10명이 늘었습니다.
이 가운데 60대 이상이 613명으로 노인 환자의 83.6%를 차지하고 있습니다.
수도권 중환자 병상이 이미 한계에 다다랐습니다.
수도권에서 하루이상 배정을 기다리는 인원은 총 915명으로
나흘 이상 대기자가 377명에 달합니다.
의료 시스템도 곧 한계가 올 듯 합니다!

이르면 3일
수도권 민간 모임 규모 축소, 식당·카페 비접종자 축소 등
거리두기 강화 방안이 발표될 것으로 보입니다.
또한, 유흥업소의 모임을 금지하고
다중이용시설의 영업시간을 제한하는 것을 고려하고 있습니다.
중앙재난안전대책본부 관계자는 "기존 4단계 거리두기 수준에 개방된 모든 방안을 검토하고 있다"며
"영업시간 제한과 비공개 모임 금지 등을 검토하고 있다"고 밝혔습니다.

서울시는 병원 병상의 수를 2,688개에서 4,099개로 확대하기로 결정했습니다.
오세훈 서울시장은 "감염병 전담병원으로 100% 운영되는 4개 시립병원 외에도
서울의료원은 물론 보라매병원까지 최대한 많은 병상을 활용해 단계적 절차를 통해 감염병 대응에 나서겠다"고
설명했습니다.

민간병원과 협력해 1,218개의 병상을 추가로 확보하기로 했습니다.
특히 임산부 전용 '모성 특화 침대'를 지정해 병원 4개, 병상 9개를 운영하는 한편
'거점생활 치료센터'도 운영하고 있습니다.
대학 기숙사가 520침대 규모의 주거치료센터로 한 곳 더 문을 열고 호텔 추가 확보를 위해 협의 중입니다.

천은미 이대목동병원 호흡기내과 교수는
"이미 오미크론 감염이 지역사회 전반으로 확산되고 있을 가능성이 크다"며
"식당이나 카페 등에 대한 격리 출입증을 확대하는 것은 물론
사회적 거리두기를 강화해야 한다"고 말했습니다.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has decided to expand the number of hospital beds from 2,688 to 4,099. Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon explained, "In addition to the four municipal hospitals that operate 100% as hospitals dedicated to infectious diseases, Seoul Medical Center as well as Seoul Boramae Hospital will use as many beds as possible to respond to infectious diseases through phased procedures."

It will also secure 1,218 additional beds in cooperation with private hospitals. In particular, it has designated a "motherhood specialized bed" for pregnant women to operate four hospitals and nine beds, while also operating a "base life treatment center." One more university dormitory has been opened as a 520-bed residential treatment center and is in talks to secure additional hotels.

Chun Eun-mi, a professor of respiratory medicine at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, said, "There is a high possibility that Omicron infections are already spreading throughout the community," adding, "We need to strengthen social distancing as well as expand quarantine passes to restaurants and cafes."
